of the Mouvement Social
> In order to reach these targets, L’artisan du Liban opened its first shop
> In 1985 another shop was opened in the eastern part of the divided city of Beirut.

Design and production
Striking a balance between design and mass production is a daily challenge.
> A balance needs to be found between preserving cultural heritage and
producing marketable goods
> A balance needs to be found between tradition, esthetics and usability
of products
> A balance needs to be found between the high cost of hand-made products and the importance of
confronting competition and forgery in the market.
> A balance needs to be found between innovation and keeping the tradition
> A balance needs to be found between rarely available material and
ensuring mass production
This is a difficult task wich needs to be constantly redefined.
In order to meet the challenge a fifted and well organized team has been constituted with great success
